How do I receive money in Nepal?

When you have information that you are to receive an amount sent to Nepal Money Remit , you have to visit to our nearest branch personally with the original identification document (passport, citizenship certificate, or any other identification mentioned by the sender). If the sender has given us your phone number, we will contact you to come and receive your money. In case the receiver is old or disabled, we will come to your home ourselves to give your money.

You can also choose to accept your remittance directly into your bank account. For this, the sender has to send the name of your bank as well as your account number, after which the amount sent will be credited directly to your bank account.

When will I receive my money?

You can collect your money on the same day that it is sent from any counter of Nepal Money Remit. However, if you access the money from your bank, it will take 2-3 days.
